How did you come up with the name Prevention HLD8 for tool disinfection?

 

We wanted to come up with something that communicated avoidance of infection, hence the word “Prevention”.

 

HLD stands for High Level Disinfection which is what is achieved for your tools.

 

And the “8” refers to the number of minutes required to fully disinfect a set of tools in a soaker tray.

 

BTW, that soaker tray liquid can be used for up to 21 days without having to be replaced so we were also thinking of calling it “Prevention HLD8 with up to 21 Day Re-use” but we were running out of room on the label…
